Following a 16-year career serving as a writer and content producer for a professional research firm, Allison launched Rooted in Grace and Grit in January 2020 as a channel to uplift and encourage women. Recognizing that life brings many joys as well as challenges, Allison is committed to reminding her readers that God surrounds us with His grace in all circumstances and fortifies us with grit when we need it most. As a mother to two wonderful girls and “mom” to four rescue pets, she is no stranger to cleaning up messes and navigating the schedule of family life – all while aspiring to know Jesus better. As such, Allison aspires to provide authentic content via Rooted in Grit and Grace to journey alongside women in this beautiful and grace-filled gift of life. We are all in this together, after all.
